Westpac Stadium New Zealand
Westpac Stadium is the newest rugby venue in New Zealand having opened in 1999. In the city of Auckland, it is a large stadium with a capacity of 40,000. When full, it can make a very intimidating place for opposing teams. Australia is the only team to record a victory at Westpac during the Tri Nations Championship.
Westpac Stadium will host the 2008 Tri Nations Championship game between New Zealand and South Africa on 5th July in the first of the two tests between the teams and the first game of the Freedom Cup.
