New Zealand Tri Nations Rugby Union
A nation obsessed by rugby, New Zealand's passion for this great sport is mirrored by its players performances on the pitch, as they are currently ranked number one in the world by the International Rugby Board.
The All Blacks have dominated the Tri Nations Results in recent years, winning the past four Championships
Many supporters would argue that New Zealand are an unstoppable unit and should have no trouble in winning the Tri Nations Championship for the fifth consecutive year in 2009 as the team appears to go from strength to strength. However, the manner of defeat in the 2007 Rugby Union World Cup Quarter Final at the hands of France showed chinks in the famous All Black armour and their recent test matches against France and Italy, provided further evidence that they are not yet at their best
New Zealand 2009 Tri Nations Form
New Zealand having won the Tri Nations in 2008 find themselves staring down the ‘barrel of a gun’ in 2009 having suffered two ignominious defeats at the hands of the rampaging South Africans. The defeats have left them trailing the’Boks’ by eight points in the 2009 Tri Nations Table and they now face a must win game against the Wallabies Perth in Tri Nations Match Five on Aug 22nd.
They will at least go into the Australian match knowing that they were the better team of the two in their first Tri Nations of this Series when winning 22-16 in Tri Nations Match One. They will also have the added bonus of Daniel Carter returning at Outside Half a position that they have really struggled with so far this Series.
The All Blacks are currently around the 6/1 mark to win the Series in the 2009 Tri Nations betting.
